Highland is centrally located in New York's Mid Hudson Valley, on the West bank of the Hudson River - Approx. 90 miles North of New York City, and 80 miles South of Albany. 5 miles East of New Paltz, midway between the towns of Kingston to the North, Newburgh to the South, and directly across the River, via the Mid Hudson Bridge, from Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie. |

Many guests have attempted Google, Mapquest or GPS directions. Their routes sometimes bring you thru many round about roads. Many streets do not have street signs and it becomes impossible to figure out where to turn. It is best to use our easy to follow directions. From North or South - NY. Thruway
(Rt. 87) - to Exit 18 (New Paltz). Right onto Rt. 299 East.
Approximately 4.5 miles take Right onto So. Chodikee Lake Rd., Fox
Hill is 1/2 mile on left.
From North or South on Rt. 9W - at intersection of
Rt. 299 & Rt. 9W,
proceed West on Rt. 299 (towards New Paltz).Take
second left onto So. Chodikee Lake
Rd., Fox Hill is 1/2 mile on left. From East or West on Rt. 90 and Mass Pike - to junction of NY Thruway (Rt. 87) and proceed South to Exit 18 (New Paltz). Right onto Rt. 299 East. Approximately 4.5 miles take Right onto So. Chodikee Lake Rd., Fox Hill is 1/2 mile on left. Approx. driving times: NY City - 90 minutes, Albany - 1 hour, Hartford - 2 hours, Philadelphia - 3 1/2 hours, Boston 4 hours. Train - Metro North or Amtrak, Poughkeepsie Station, 10 min. Airports:Stewart International, (SWF) Newburgh NY-30mins. Albany International, (ALB) Albany NY 60 minutes. NYC: Kennedy (JFK), La Guardia (LGA), Newark (EWR)-approx. 90 minutes |
